ABOUT DUBAI

Dubai is one of the largest and most populous city in the United Arab Emirates. It is Situated on the southeast coast of the Persian Gulf. The city of Dubai is located on the emirate's northern coastline and heads the Dubai-Sharjah-Ajman metropolitan area. Dubai Considered as a global city and business hub of the Middle East. It also provides a major transport opportunity for the passengers and cargo. By the 1960s, Dubai's economy was based on revenues from trade and to a smaller extent from oil exploration concessions. Dubai is one of the country with a rich culture established by Bedouin heritage and traditions of storytelling, poetry, song, dance, and falconry, but there are plenty of opportunities to experience it.

Tourism is an important part of the Dubai government's method to maintain the flow of foreign cash into the emirate. Dubai has focused its economy on tourism by building hotels and developing real estate. Dubai's provides great opportunity for shopping and to visit other ancient and modern attractions. As per the report of 2013 Dubai was the 7th most visited city of the world and the fastest growing, increasing by a 10.7% rate. Dubai conducted 14.9 million overnight visitors in 2016, and is expected to read 20 million tourists by 2020.

Pharmacy in the UAE is rapidly advancing. There are definite strengths in UAE pharmacy. The Dubai Health Authority has been working on developing the medical tourism sector. The aim is to potentially attract 1.3 million medical tourists annually by 2021. The revenue generated by medical tourism is expected to grow by 13% annually continually over the next five years.
